Thoughts on writing

In today's world of stagnent book sales and red hot word processors, agents and publishers are swamped with query letters and manuscripts. If you're new--and not named Paris Hilton---you have a uphill battle to get your book on the shelves. Is it worth your time to go the triditional route--i. e.--query---agent--N. Y. publisher? Well, I don't think so. This is my take on getting your book published. I'm a published author with one novel under my belt. My book had good sales, but trying to get the sequel and other works published has been a slow go.
I've decided, with the internet and so many good self-publishers out there, that I'm going to crank out my novels and get them published. With all the connective internet sites available I think I can get more sales online than a triditioal publisher.
This is how my publishing scheduale looks for next year: Spring--The sequel to The Red Scarf---Lyin' Like a Sorry Yard Dog---an adult novel, The Warlord's Daughter--in the fall, another in the Red Scarf series---The Yankee Doctor--and another adult novel---The Queen of Hamburger Row.
I'm going to publish four novel next year and use my website--etc, to sell them. I'll bet my sales will be better than my conventionally published novel.
