Chihuahuas and fights in the south.
Well, the Huttig Junior League wants to thank y'all for all the orders for the Huttig Junior League Cookbook, Chihuahua Samplings. And yes the state gun of Arkansas in the AK .47 and no it don't blow a Chihuahua all to pieces. You just gotta know where to aim at. Since only a few river rats---who'll just about eat anything---eats the head, that's where most folks aims. And yes Bubba and Tilda May does have a cafe down on the river.
Alright that's enough about them little rat dogs. I guess y'all know I'm in deep trouble for writing about how mean them little dogs is. Yeah, I've got one of them quit and stop orders from that bunch in California, who don't think them Chihuahuas is good to eat.

Anyways there's a bunch more stuff to tell y'all about. First off living in Norphlet ain't as dull as you might think. Shoot, there's almost always something going on. Yeah, and sometimes things get way out of hand. I wrote about the big fight in the City Cafe between Bubba and Big Six, in that book called The Red Scarf, but that weren't nothing compared to the time City Marshal Wing Ellenberger mixed it up with them three roughnecks he was trying to arrest. Yep, me and John Clayton was right there. It was three against one, and on top of that Marshal Wing ain't got but one arm. That's why they call him Wing. You'd never believe what happened in a million years, but it come out okay. Y'all can read the details in that Red Scarf book.
