Ask The Richard

                         Ask the Richard

Hey, Richard; what is them yardbirds up at the Game and Fish Commission up to now?

Teddy Beers

Lawson, Arkansas

Possible answers: New and proposed regulations

  1. Women are to not fish after the third trimester of pregnancy, but if they do, they cant reel in any fish over one pound.
  2.  Another new regulation requires a trout line to be called trot line, and, that if you run someone's trot line, any fish caught are to be turned over to the local Game and Fish Commissioner to be disposed of as he or she sees fit.
  3. A final regulation would require the tagging of panthers, buffalo, and wolves---just in case.

    Answer:
Actually, Mr. Beers, those are just proposed new regulations, which wont be acted on until 2016. The Commission spent most of their time this year enacting regulations that would place deer in the same category as migratory birds, which would make deer feeders, deer stands, and hunting with dogs illegal. Of course, that would also slow down you AK-47 boys.
